I am 10 years old and I've been playing soccer seince I was four. I play goalie and center. I want to thank you for the scholarship and tell you how much it helped us to go on our soccer tournament. We don't have much money and I had to stop going to my favorite school and it made me really sad but now I go to a school that is really cool. It we didn't get the money from you we coulded have gone on to Las Cruces. I'm really sorry that Lauren died. You are very generous and hope you have a really great life. On behalf of me and all my children we cannot began to express how appreciative we are. We Immidiately caught up on some of our past due debts to the clubs ad coaches. They actually were ready to pull two of my girls cards because we didnt have they fees paid up. So you really were a blessing to say the least. Even though we are a single parent family, we dont just sit around hoping for extended help, we (children included) do fund raisers and work extra hours, so we really appreciated the "support". My two U11 daughters that play one year up qualified for the ODP team...along with my son that is U10 that plays U12. He's also a gifted student that was tested 2 grade levels up...fabulous child. All my children have been complemented in their ethics, standards and levels of respect so it was very rewarding to them....I'm very proud of them...VERY! Thank you so much for awarding me money so I could play soccer. Even though my dad is unenployed I was able to play high school soccer and have a great time. I played for Eldorado High School and got pulled up to varsity for the metro tournament and state. I was able to play in the State Championship.
